Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 16, 2026
1. Who we are
Alexarix Ltd. (alexarix.com), trading as AnalogFax, operates this online fax service. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. Contact: support@analogfax.com, Unit 1603, 16/F, The L. Plaza, 367–375 Queen's Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong.
2. Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address, sign-in codes and session data.
- Payment data: processed by Stripe. We store only Stripe identifiers, amounts and card brand/last four digits; never full card numbers.
- Fax data: the documents you upload, recipient fax numbers, cover-sheet text, page counts, transmission logs and delivery status.
- Technical data: IP address, approximate location (country/region derived from IP), browser and device information, and error logs.
- Consent records: your cookie choices and the time they were made.
3. How we use it
To provide and secure the service, transmit your faxes, process payments and subscriptions, send transactional emails (sign-in codes, receipts, delivery confirmations), prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law, and improve the service. Legal bases (where GDPR/UK GDPR applies): contract performance, legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), consent (non-essential cookies, marketing emails) and legal obligation.
3a. Analytics and advertising
With your consent (where required) we use analytics to understand how the site is used and advertising conversion tools — currently Google Ads and Google Analytics — to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns. These tools may set cookies or similar identifiers and receive your IP address, device information and the pages you visit. They are only activated according to your cookie choices: in the EEA, UK and Switzerland after opt-in; elsewhere you can opt out at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. We honour Global Privacy Control. We do not share fax content or recipient numbers with advertising providers.
4. Sharing
We share data only with processors needed to run the service: Telnyx (fax transmission — recipient number and the document), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security), and our email provider (transactional emails). We may disclose data when required by law or to protect rights and safety, and as part of a business transfer. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
5. Retention
- Fax documents: deleted automatically 30 days after sending; abandoned uploads after 7 days.
- Transmission logs (number, pages, status): 12 months.
- Account data: while your account is active and up to 3 years after closure.
- Payment records: 7 years for tax and accounting compliance.
6. Security
Documents are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, access is restricted, and sessions use signed, HttpOnly cookies. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; the final leg of a fax travels over the public telephone network.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your data, to object to processing, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. California and other US state residents may request to know, delete and correct personal information and to opt out of "sale"/"sharing" and targeted advertising (we do none, and we honour Global Privacy Control signals). We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. Email support@analogfax.com; we respond within 30 days (45 for certain US state requests).
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure is operated by US providers. Where data is transferred from the EEA/UK we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards.
9. Cookies
See our Cookie Policy. You can change your choices at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
10. Children
The service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
11. Changes
We will post updates here and notify you of material changes by email.
